I can’t stand entitled customers. It might be even worse at a call center where the customer is typically already pissed off by the time they reach you. But I’ve thankfully never had to work at a coffee shop. Such a waste, like if it were me as the customer I would probably ask them to just pour it into a smaller cup because I can’t stand wastefulness.

The hilarious part is that she probably rang him up for a small cup to begin with, so he would have received a large coffee for less money.

When I briefly worked as a cashier and things like this happened, I’d always say “oops my mistake, I’ll ring you up for a small and just give you the large!” And sometimes people would still be mad! Do you want extra stuff or not??

Well, for some people a large can be too much, so the extra stuff will actually have a negative value to them.

If they are also the kind of people that can't not drink it all, then...

This is ignoring the third type of worker, who becomes numb after a few months but then still suffers a breakdown and quits sometime at the approximate 2-year mark. No I'm not projecting why do you ask
